Recognising & Managing difficult behaviour.

Overview

A new module to support and enhance the holistic development of 21st century learners.

Our service assistance supports and facilitates school & college students in developing and managing their individual personal/social, educational, and career goals and plans. The activities include referrals, peer helping programs and individual, small group, crisis, and career counseling.

Our services are designed to assist all students, not only the students who are exhibiting behavior problems, with the goal of achieving healthy behavioral, social, and emotional development. Social and emotional competence has been associated with more positive peer and teacher relationships and less aggressive behavior. We also work closely with teachers and serves as a resource for student care providers as they foster and enhance student’s early development. We help teachers to identify problem behaviors earlier so that they may be addressed before more serious problems occur. Educates and trains teachers in the knowledge and application of developmentally appropriate practices in the classroom as well as understanding student and how best to foster healthy development.

Our services extended to the administrative and management activities necessary to support the guidance and counselling program, as well as activities or services provided by education institution counsellors to support other guidance and educational programs of the education institution. This includes consultation and collaboration with parents and community agencies and other support services, staff development, research, community relations, and program evaluation.
